Concert Band (Winds Class)
The performing ensemble consisting of members of the woodwind, brass and percussion families. Participation requires enrollment in concert band or percussion class during the school day. The concert band typically has four concerts during the year; Winter Concert, Concert Performance Assessment (field trip to MTSU), CPA prep concert, and a Spring Concert. Other performances (designated parades, pep rallies, etc) take place during the school day. Attendance to these performances is mandatory; as it is a summative assessment of the band. Members of the concert band are invited to join the Competition Band at football games and related events.
